Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Volamo LLC ("Volamo," "we," "us") collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use Septic Line (septicline.com) — including its quote-request forms and business-claim flow. Questions or requests any time: [email protected].
Information we collect
- Quote-request & claim-form fields — your name, phone number, email address, the street address of the job (quote requests), and anything else you type into a quote-request or claim-request form (service details, message, business name). While you type the address, the letters you have typed are sent to Google Maps to suggest matching addresses.
- Consent record — which version of our consent notice you agreed to on that form, and when.
- Technical data — a salted, non-reversible hash of your IP address (never your raw IP) and your browser's user-agent string, used only for spam and rate-limit protection.
- Business listing data — publicly available business information (name, address, phone, hours, categories, reviews) that we aggregate to build directory listings, and, once a listing is claimed, the information the owner who claimed it provides.
How we use information
- To arrange your quote: our team may share your request, including the job address, with the business(es) you picked on the form. It is never shared with businesses you didn't pick; the service providers listed under "How we share information" handle it only to run the service.
- To confirm ownership and activate an owner account when you claim a listing, via our identity service at id.volamo.com.
- To process Featured subscription billing through Stripe, if you purchase a paid plan.
- To notify our internal team via Discord when a new quote request or claim comes in.
- To secure the service and prevent spam and abuse.
How we share information
Our team may share a quote request with the business(es) you selected on the form to arrange your quote — it is never sold, and never shared with businesses you didn't select. We do not sell personal information to anyone. We share data with the service providers below only to the extent needed to run the service you used, under confidentiality obligations:
- Cloudflare — hosting, network, and the database that stores form submissions.
- Stripe — billing for Featured subscriptions.
- Google Analytics — how visitors use the site (pages viewed, how they arrived, approximate location); see Cookies below.
- Google Maps — address suggestions while you type the job address on a quote request.
- Our identity service (id.volamo.com) — owner accounts and claim confirmation.
- Discord — internal notifications to our team about each new quote request or claim, including the details you entered (name, phone, email, job address, message), used only to route the request internally.
Cookies
This site sets cookies to keep a claim/owner session signed in, and uses Google Analytics to
understand how visitors use the site. Google Analytics sets first-party cookies (such as
_ga) and records which pages are viewed, how visitors arrive, roughly where they are, and
actions such as sending a quote request or clicking through to a business's website. It never
receives what you type into a form (name, phone, email or message). Google processes this data under
its own privacy policy. We do not use
analytics data for advertising, and we do not use third-party advertising cookies or cross-site
ad-tracking pixels. You can block these cookies in your browser or use Google's
opt-out add-on; the site works
the same either way.
Retention
Quote-request data is kept as long as needed to fulfill the request and for a reasonable follow-up window. Owner-account and billing data is kept for as long as the account is active, plus what's required for our accounting and legal obligations.
Data deletion
You can request deletion of your data at any time: email [email protected] with the subject line "Delete my data" from (or naming) the phone number or email you submitted. We honor deletion requests within 30 days and confirm by email when it's done.
Changes
If we materially change this policy we'll update this page and the effective date above.
